It’s hard to believe that we are only weeks away from calling 2018 a wrap and ushering in 2019. This year has been an incredibly busy one for the LeanData team. The team has been focusing on delivering industry-leading innovation, hosting industry-leading events including Ops-Stars, scaling the business, and planning for a successful 2019. Here is a recap of the significant milestones LeanData has reached and delivered over the past year.
2018 has been a year of transformation and scale for LeanData’s business. We have achieved several significant milestones, including substantial customer growth. Today, the company has crossed 400+ B2B enterprise customers, including Siemens, Facebook, IBM, RingCentral, and more. To best serve our customers, we spent the past year growing our organization and hiring top talent across the organization. We built a world-class marketing organization led by our well-respected CMO, Karen Steele. Furthermore, LeanData established a Revenue Operations business unit, under the direction of Erin Bush, who joined our team from SalesLoft. Moreover, we doubled both our Customer Success and Implementation Consultants teams.
Finally, we were pleased to unveil our highly successful rebranding efforts in July. The new branding is a reflection of our future vision for the business. The support we have received from our customers, investors, and others about the rebranding have been enormously valuable. One of our investors and long-time board members, Ravi Mohan, Managing Director, Shasta Ventures, captured the goal of our rebrand, in his LinkedIn post, “this rebrand perfectly reflects how far LeanData has come, where it is today, and where it is going.” As we scaled our business to new heights, we applied the same principle to our annual conference, Ops-Stars.
Three years ago, the LeanData team had an idea to host an intimate event, during Dreamforce, where operations professionals would be able to learn, share industry best practices and network, which we called Ops-Stars. Ops-Stars 2018 reached new heights. Over the two-day event in September, we welcomed 1,600 attendees to the San Francisco Mint. Furthermore, attendees had the opportunity to attend keynotes, breakout sessions, and workshops hosted by industry thought leaders including Laura Ramos, VP & Principal Analyst, B2B Marketing, Forrester; Godard Abel, Co-Founder, CEO, G2 Crowd; Chris Cabrera, Founder, CEO, Xactly; and many more. It was our goal to deliver a high-quality event where attendees could learn, share and put into action the industry’s best practices. In 2019, we will be taking Ops-Stars on the road in addition to hosting the annual conference (slated for November 19-20th in San Francisco). We will be sharing details about the Ops-Stars roadshow very soon.
